About Johanna
I was born and raised in Venezuela. I got my BAC (Littéraire) at the « Lycée Français de Caracas » and then moved to Argentina, where I've lived since.
Singer and actress, I am passionate about human expression and communication. I love the arts, nature, good food, dancing, going out with friends... Speaking several languages has allowed me to look at the world with more open and sensitive eyes, to understand people, their culture, the different ways of seeing life. I am also very interested in childhood, the environment and society in general.

Nací y crecí en Venezuela hasta mis 20 años. Obtuve mi BAC (Littéraire) en el Lycée Francais de Caracas. Luego me mudé a Argentina, donde vivo desde entonces.
Cantante y actriz, soy una apasionada de la expresión y la comunicación humana. Amo las artes, la naturaleza, la buena comida, bailar, salir con amigos… Hablar varios idiomas me ha permitido mirar el mundo con ojos más abiertos y sensibles, comprender de otra manera a las personas, su cultura, los diversos modos de ver la vida... I teach Spanish (my mother tongue) and French (my second language).
I love teaching and I have more than fifteen years of teaching experience in the field of performing arts. I started teaching languages five years ago and I continue to train in this specific area through online courses taught by prestigious institutions. My specialty is to unite all my experience and teach languages through art, or to artists who need to learn a language to continue training in their discipline and developing professionally.
My lessons and teaching method
I think that the most important thing when teaching is to keep the enthusiasm and desire to learn alive. That is why my classes not only focus on the student's interests but also on detecting and taking advantage of their learning strategies. I use humor a lot and give special importance to oral expression, which is often the most difficult to incorporate. I privilege the use of authentic resources, to guarantee direct contact with culture and language.

Me encanta enseñar y poseo una experiencia de más de quince años de docencia en el ámbito de las artes del espectáculo. Empecé a enseñar idiomas hace cinco años y sigo formándome en esta área específica a través de cursos en línea impartidos por instituciones prestigiosas. Mi especialidad es unir toda mi experiencia y enseñar idiomas a través del arte, o bien a artistas que precisan aprender un idioma para seguir formándose en su disciplina y desarrollándose profesionalmente.
Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Pienso que lo más importante a la hora de enseñar es mantener vivo el entusiasmo y las ganas de aprender. Es por eso que mis clases no sólo se centran en los intereses del alumno sino también en en detectar y aprovechar sus estrategias de aprendizaje. Recurro mucho al humor y doy especial importancia a la expresión oral, que es a menudo lo más difícil de incorporar. Privilegio el uso de recursos auténticos, para garantizar el contacto directo con la cultura y la lengua.

Tuve un curso intensivo de apenas un mes con Johanna, justo antes de irme a vivir a París. Yo nunca había estudiado francés, ni tenía afinidad con la pronunciación o el sonido del idioma. Comenzamoss de cero y me fui con una base muy sólida. Me enseñó justo lo que necesitaba: recursos aplicados a situaciones cotidianas tanto formales como coloquiales. Además las clases eran divertidísimas! Super recomendable!
Es una profesora genial, ductil, que se adapta siempre a las inquietudes del alumno, super clases. Incorpore vocabulario, interpretando canciones también. Recomiendo 100%
Johanna es una excelente profesora y persona. Muy formada, profesional y comprometida. Tomo clases virtuales con ella hace casi dos años y puedo asegurar que su método es sumamente dinámico y ágil, sin por ello dejar de ser organizado y serio. Soy Laura y estudio francés desde el año 2014. Fue solo a partir del año 2020 cuando conocí a Johana que pude comenzar a comprender la complejidad del idioma. Ella me anima todo el tiempo a hablar . Y de hecho nos pasamos una hora y media , aprendiendo y hablando (en francés) de todo. Actualidad, preocupaciones y risas. Recomiendo a Johana fervientemente.
