About Timothy
I fell into teaching Conversational English to professional adults and homemakers. Then the next twenty years brought me every kind, every level, every age student. I earned a TEFL certificate and finished my BA. I taught in Austria and Hungary and Slovakia, I taught in Thailand, I taught online.

I became a teacher, well my mother taught ESL for thirty years and my father was a professor before being a business man, but I became a teacher to be the teacher I always wanted (and had but a few in my academic undergrad teachers). I've been teaching since my last years in university where I fell into the role; my classmate asked if I would teach her mother Conversational English, I wanted to help a friend and her mother became my first student: we had a wonderful time and her English progressed rapidly and naturally, she told her friends and word of mouth made me a teacher. I was a Communication/English major and had no intention of being a teacher, but as I became one I found my calling and joy. I've been a teacher now for twenty-five years (as time flies). I look forward to meeting and finding the best bridge to wherever your goal is.

Tim has a way of making students sparkle in his classes. He always keeps it real - both in and outside the classroom. His classes are very conversational and hands-on. You will get real-life chunks of language from him in every season that you can use immediately in your daily life. Real classes from a native speaker you will definitely enjoy!
