About Aurna
Achieving A*AA and getting into my dream course at Imperial College London has been the highlight of my higher education. However, having just been through the reformed linear A-Level exams, I know all too well the difficulties students face. On top of that, the added of stress of UCAS applications and university choices can add to the pressure and make it difficult to focus on academics.
My A* grade in the new Edexcel Maths A-Level and A’s in AQA Chemistry and Biology show that I am able to understand A-Level content and exam technique well. I will therefore be able to help students who are also new to the specification and type of exam. Having been part of the first batch to sit the new Maths A-Level, I also have resources and notes suited to the new specification to offer and will be able to identify and select relevant questions from the old specification for my students.
I am determined to use my first hand experience to ensure that my students do not face the same troubles I experienced and to help in any way possible. I am happy to to help with not only academic problems, but also personal statement proof reading, career and course advice, interview preparation, etc. at no extra cost.
I have been teaching young children the piano and have run a voluntary tutoring class at a community centre where I have been described as kind, patient, helpful and informative. I have a great interest and passion in teaching and hope to continue in the future.
