About Isla
I completed a Master's in English Language Education and have been teaching for 10 years. During this time, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them improve communication through supportive and practical lessons. Every learner brings unique strengths, and I enjoy helping them reach their goals.
I believe good teaching combines patience, encouragement, and clear explanations. My lessons focus on building confidence while improving speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills through meaningful practice. I always adjust my teaching style to match each learner's progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading contemporary literature, exploring language learning methods, and creating new lesson activities. These interests help me keep classes engaging and relevant. Helping students communicate confidently in English continues to inspire me every day.

I believe English becomes easier when students use it with purpose instead of memorising rules alone. My lessons include grammar practice, vocabulary building, speaking activities, storytelling, reading comprehension, pronunciation, writing tasks, listening exercises, and everyday conversations. I use simple English and engaging activities to make every lesson practical, enjoyable, and easy to follow.
Every lesson is planned around the learner's goals and current ability. Interactive discussions, visual resources, grammar games, role plays, and guided exercises help students improve naturally. I provide regular feedback, explain mistakes patiently, and encourage learners to communicate with growing confidence in real-life situations.
My aim is to make English a language students enjoy using every day. As confidence grows, learners become more comfortable expressing ideas, understanding conversations, and communicating with clarity. Every class builds useful skills that support long-term success in education, work, and daily life.
