About Anureet
Hi! My name is Ana and I currently attend Vanderbilt University's School of Engineering and majoring in Mechanical Engineering on a premed track. In the past, I have gotten involved in research with multiple universities and established organizations. I did research with Elizabeth City State University and drone systems and how to make drones more efficient while redesigning the parts that are more viable failing. In addition, cancer research with them in the hopes to prove the efficiency of a unique pathway. I am an independent researcher with Eastern Virginia Medical School under Dr. Alberto Musto. I am currently researching axonal propagation and creating a device to later patent. Additionally, I am doing research alongside Old Dominion University, Virginia Institute of Spaceflight and Autonomy, and NASA to redesign Hampton Roads Airport and transform it into a futuristic hub for development. This summer, I am also taking a trip across the Atlantic Ocean in a DA-40NG to promote STEM Education for everyone. Next summer, I will doing a trip around the world while holding events in different cities of the world to meet with students and STEM enthusiasts and show them that they should pursue their dreams. I am attempting to break a world record to be the youngest set of twins to fly around the world with my sister. I was able to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a DA-40NG this summer and know I will be ready to take on the world next summer. Lastly, I am in the process of creating a startup that combines medicine, technology, and aviation. I have already started to impact the world around me and hope I will continue to do so to give back to the world while continuing to grow as an individual.
