• 1)When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  Throughout middle school and high school, Science subjects and mathematics have always gained my interest. Maybe it was because I was always surrounded by math and science enthusiasts. As a high school student, I participated in many extracurricular activities which touched upon a wide variety of subjects. But I found myself being more inclined towards the application of science which led me to take up Engineering as a major in University

• 2)What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I can say that taking up Engineering as my major was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. I am thoroughly enjoying the subject even though it can get very tough sometimes. I love knowing the working of things and solving problems. The satisfaction of solving problems and bringing in feasible solutions great and that is what makes me passionate about Engineering.

• 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  The one thing that I love about tutoring is the great feeling that I have helped someone. I also love teaching the subjects I am passionate about.
  
  One thing that makes me a superprof is the amount of effort I put in the classes that I give. I try to prepare myself before the classes start so that no time is wasted during the sessions. I make sure that the student is fully understanding the underlying concepts and try to bring about various tricks and tips to aid in their understanding.

• 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Yes, I do have many role models. One thing that all my role models have in common Is that all of them are proactive and take every opportunity that is given to them. I aspire to be like them and make the best out of everything.
  
  In High school, I had a chemistry teacher whose ways of teaching were very fun. The amount of effort he put in his classes were tremendous and it could be seen. He came up with ways to make us understand the material and his classes were always fun.

• 5) What are your keys to success?

  Firstly I try my best to analyze the students situation and figure out what they need help with. Then I teach with the best method that is suited for them. Secondly, I thoroughly prepare for my classes so that everything is clear during the sessions. Thirdly, I try to create a friendly atmosphere so that the student is comfortable with me and thus can work stress free and ask any question on their mind. I encourage them in every way possible so that they feel that they are not alone in this. When I know that they have a grasp of the concepts, I try to make them do problems themselves so that they can work independently afterwards.
