About Abigail
My passion for jazz guitar runs deep, rooted in a lifelong dedication to exploring its rich history, complex harmonies, and expressive possibilities. With over five years of experience as a guitarist and educator, I am driven by a relentless enthusiasm to share this passion with others.
For me, jazz guitar is not just about playing notes; it's about storytelling through music. I believe in the power of improvisation to capture emotions and create spontaneous musical conversations. My goal is to inspire my students to embrace this artistic freedom, guiding them to develop their improvisational skills while understanding the theoretical underpinnings that support their musical choices.
Beyond technique and theory, my passion lies in fostering a genuine love and appreciation for jazz guitar. I strive to instill in my students a curiosity to explore different styles, to listen deeply to jazz legends, and to translate that inspiration into their own playing. Each lesson is an opportunity to ignite creativity, nurture musical growth, and cultivate a lifelong journey of learning and discovery.
As a jazz guitar master, I am committed to providing personalized guidance and unwavering support to every student. I am fueled by the joy of witnessing my students' progress and the shared excitement of uncovering new musical possibilities together. Together, let's embark on a transformative musical adventure where passion, dedication, and the magic of jazz guitar converge.
