About Sergio
In my professional career I have managed to specialize in the Training area, in which I have worked directly for more than 20 years, mostly within the automotive industry.
I started as responsible for the training of service engineers in the microfilming area of Kodak Mexicana for all the country. I also had the opportunity to train a team of engineers in Bogota, Colombia.
Also, independently, I was in charge of the electrical / electronic training of a team of Technicians from Nylon de Mexico at its facilities in Nuevo León.
I had the opportunity to startup and subsequently coordinate the Training area of Navistar Mexico (automotive truck assembly company) for a little more than 8 years and then, after a promotion, follow up on the development of finance personnel at the corporate level for a little more 3 years.
In 2012 I joined Mazda Motor Operaciones in Mexico to participate in the start-up process of the vehicle assembly plant that was built in Salamanca, Gto. My main responsibility was the establishment and start-up of the Training area of this new assembly plant.
In September 2017 I joined the company AAM Maquiladora México (American Axle Manufacturing) as Training Coordinator, being responsible of the 9 plants that are at the complex in Silao, Gto. I was also responsible for the Richard E. Dauch Training Center, which was built in coordination with the State Government, which started operations in June 2018. Part of my activities was the proper use of this resource for the company's activities.
