I am an educator/researcher, student, tutor, mentor, facilitator and coach. I have been teaching at high school for 4 years and tutoring, facilitating, mentoring, teaching assistant and supervising under and post graduate students at the University of the Western Cape for 7 years. I view consultation and feedback as central to facilitate teaching and learning because I value both knowledge-based and skilled-based teaching and learning attributes. I view myself as duty bearer and my students are right holders both with expected roles and responsibilities towards teaching and learning. I also value question and answer approaches with group discussions.
