About Paul
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh, where I studied International Relations and Law and graduated top of my cohort with a First. I'm bilingual in English and French, and I've been through both the UK and French education systems myself, having done my A-Levels in France and a year at Sciences Po Paris. I reply quickly to messages and turn up prepared for every lesson with a plan for what we're covering. I'm patient and if a student is stuck on something specific I'll make sure to work through it with them properly, step by step.

I teach law, politics, history, and international relations, from high school students preparing for exams to university undergraduates. I graduated top of my cohort from Edinburgh with a First in International Relations and Law, with a dissertation that received a mark of 80. I also spent a year on exchange at Sciences Po Paris and a year studying history and politics at university, giving me real subject knowledge across everything I teach, not just law. I've put this knowledge to use doing diplomatic work for the French government and legal internships and political internships. My focus is on teaching proper essay writing, from basic high school coursework all the way up to dissertation-level work. I help students structure clear arguments and explain exactly what examiners are looking for, so they know what's expected of them. I also help with personal statements, CVs, and applications for university or internships. Lessons can run for as long as the student needs. Lastly, I have past experience with tutoring, having taught online before, including classes of up to 20 students.
