Edinburgh-based enthusiastic maths and physics tutor with a PhD, studying to be a physics teacher

I supervised Laura while she completed her PhD in Physics. She graduated in 2019 with her PhD from the University of Edinburgh.
During her studies she carried out research as part of several collaborations and was heavily involved in teaching within Edinburgh University. She is a careful and successful teacher who arrives for class fully prepared.
After completing her research with me - she went on to train as a school teacher also at the University of Edinburgh.

She is very good at explaining her subject to others in a way which furthers their understanding. In addition, she is well organised, conscientious and empathetic.
