About Joshua T
I am simply a university student who has loved teaching for the past 3 and a half years - seeing a student of mine progress and slowly build confidence in their ability is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had, not to mention the pride in seeing them come out with a grade deserving of all their efforts.
Many of the students I've taught have a latent ability that they are not aware of simply because teaching in schools have failed to draw this out, and so, I take great joy in allowing a student to flourish by harnessing such ability.

Tutoring aimed at GCSE maths students in Years 8-11 (I have 3+ years experience teaching and a grade 9 myself) or A-level maths students in Years 12-13 (1 year experience and grades A* and A for Maths and Further Maths A-levels respectively)
It is my personal belief that learning happens most effectively through building self confidence. Therefore, my lessons aim to make the foundational logic in problems *click* in the students mind, ensuring they're able to latch on to problems and develop the personal ability to adapt to any problem they may face.
Lessons range from 40 minutes to 2 hours depending on the students attention span or timetabling of the student, but regardless of lesson time I find 1.5-2 hours per week optimal for progress!
