About Kwakhanya
My name is Kwakhanya Mboniswa and I am living in Cape Town. I have been part of the Arts industry for the last 7 years. I have danced for New World Dance Theatre; traveled to Germany a few times, performing in three different cities of Germany, and am a current Magnet Theatre trainee, as well as a writer. I fell in love with theatre due to its power to change hardcore situations to better days. I also love teaching young people and helping them get opportunities in the industry. I am quite an intellect and I find reading and knowing new things as one of my many hobbies that I enjoy doing during my free time.

As a young actor myself, I bring forth great wisdom and new ways to learn efficiently, which helps my students to be more equipped with as many tools that they can use in the future. I lean more in opening new views and approaches to the work that seem to be challenging for one to tackle on their own. As an actor, I work with how one can find their unique voices when they are performing, either alone or with other people alongside them. And I take time to go along with each student through each challenge they face, not spoon-feeding, but advising on a better way to work the challenge out, without the student feeling small or unheard. With my way of teaching, I aim to also assist the students in other opportunities that the industry has, such as drama competitions, art festivals, and other amazing events where one can be able to learn and experience the positivity and love from the art industry.
