About Shamina

Hello! I am a passionate and dedicated Montessori teacher specializing in making Mathematics intuitive and engaging for young learners. Instead of traditional rote learning, I bring the Montessori philosophy of hands-on, concrete understanding to Class 5 students.
With my background in child-centric education, I know how to help students transition smoothly from physical concepts to abstract mathematical thinking. I am exceptionally patient, approachable, and deeply committed to turning math anxiety into genuine confidence.

About the class

My Teaching Methodology:
I believe that Mathematics is not about memorising formulas; it is about understanding logic. For Class 5 students, transitioning to more complex topics like fractions, decimals, and geometry can sometimes feel overwhelming.

How I conduct my classes:

• Visual Learning: I use real-life examples, objects, and visual tools to explain abstract math concepts.

• Step-by-Step Approach: We break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps so the student doesn't feel rushed.

• Interactive Problem Solving: I encourage students to ask "why" and solve problems alongside me rather than just copying solutions.

• Patience First: Every child learns at their own pace. I provide a calm, pressure-free environment where making mistakes is treated as a natural part of learning.
