About Talemwa

Hi, I'm Tal. I'm a Maths and Physics tutor with a mechanical engineering background (Loughborough University, 2024) with A-Levels in Maths and Physics (Both A's) . I know these subjects inside-out because I've lived them both through study and through my engineering work.

Over the past year, I've worked with students in London schools—facilitating after-school clubs, wraparound care, and coaching. I've also informally tutored friends throughout my life and coached football with kids, which taught me that people learn differently and that confidence grows through encouragement. I'm patient, adaptable, genuinely invested in your success, and DBS-certified for safeguarding.

ABOUT THE LESSONS

My approach is simple: I meet you where you are, figure out how you learn best, and tailor everything accordingly.

What you'll get:

Patient, judgment-free explanations (no question is dumb)
Real understanding, not just memorisation
Personalised problem-solving practice
Honest feedback on what's working and what needs work
Confidence rebuilt, one lesson at a time

How it works:

First lesson is a trial! No pressure, just a conversation about your goals and how I can help
Typical lessons are 50-60 minutes, but flexible. Can be longer or shorter depending on your needs
Mix of theory, practice problems, visual explanations, and real-world examples
You'll get notes after each lesson + practice homework if you want it

I work with:

Secondary school students catching up or wanting to excel
GCSE students preparing for exams
A-Level students aiming to improve
Anyone who wants to actually understand maths or physics (not just pass)
