About Tricia
Hello! I'm Tricia, 20 years old, and I'm in my first year of Economics at University College London (UCL). I graduated high school with an IB Diploma, scoring 44 out of 45, with Higher Level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.
Teaching and supporting others has always been something I love. This inspired me to take part in multiple tutoring programmes throughout high school where I volunteered to tutor kids from low-income families. These experiences have deepened my love for tutoring. For me, the key to mastering mathematics lies in grasping the underlying concepts. With a solid conceptual foundation, the subject becomes straightforward — even enjoyable! However, reaching that level of proficiency undoubtedly requires diligent practice. As your tutor, my goal is to facilitate this journey by fostering a deep understanding of the material and providing ample opportunities for practice.
With two years of experience tutoring 9 to 10-year-old children, both face-to-face and virtually, I have honed the skills necessary to deliver effective and engaging lessons. I offer both online and in-person sessions. Additionally, I am proficient in both English and Mandarin.
