About Ayman
I am a 1st year medical student at UCL. At GCSE, I received 11 GCSEs, with grade 9s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. At A-Level, I attained A* in Chemistry, A* in Biology, A in Mathematics and A in EPQ. I have experience tutoring for a year, taking a GCSE student from a grade 6 in Maths to a grade 9! I am friendly and always available to discuss about anything regarding the path to higher education. I understand thoroughly how difficult it is for students in these years, and I hope to make it as smooth as possible!

Having recently sat both GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the process in which students must go through to succeed. In my 1 hour lessons, students will first be taught content through examples and explanation, however the consolidation and excelling of a topic comes from practice; I have a wealth of resources from recently completing these exams that are perfect for the student to become confident with the topic. I can offer homework to students too, but as a student I understand if this workload can become overwhelming. Upon completing the syllabus, the lessons become focused on exam practice and timings, as pressure in an exam can be overlooked when practising. In order for students to complete as many exam papers as possible, I have a bank of exam papers that students do not have access to, which I found very useful in my own experience.
For students in Year 12 and 13, I also offer interview practice. I have completed interviews for Imperial, Kings, UCL and Manchester, and was successful in all my interviews. Interviews are always changing, so I aim to teach the adaptability and confidence to answer any question under pressure, as this is close to how the real experience feels.
