About Amelia
I am a student at East 15 Acting School with a passion for comedy and musical theatre acting. I have performed in various showcases on the West-End, such as The Adelphi and His Majesty’s Theatre, a short play called ‘On a Wingless Eagle’ at The Mercury, a local production of ‘My Fair Lady’ at Headgate Theatre, where I played Eliza, and more. Coming from a small village, I found it very difficult to get into the acting world and discover what area I wanted to pursue and what inspired me. I always wanted a role model of my age, someone I could relate to, and who hadn’t had it easy getting involved in performances, and with my experience now I think I would be able to be this role model for others and that is something that really excites me. Alongside my A-Levels in Drama and Theatre and Performing Arts, I have now completed various acting exams and courses, such as the Unseen Intensive course, LAMDA Acting Exams grades 1-6, and RADA Bronze award. This, accompanied with a year at London South Bank University studying Acting and Performance intensely, focusing on every corner of theatre and screen and many key practitioners, has given me the toolkit to help aspiring actors become the best they can be in a safe and encouraging space.

My years of training and practical experience in acting, musical theatre, devising, and more allow me to tailor every lesson to the student’s personal goals. Whether that’s preparing for an exam, audition, or performance, or working to improve their craft overall. I offer tutoring for all ages and skill levels up to University, and can do 30 minute, 45 minute, or one hour lessons, whatever is more fitting for the student. I will discuss with their individual targets and whether or not they want to go down a more theoretical or practical route and what practitioners and performance styles interest them. This will allow me to create the perfect study plan whilst guiding them through it each step of the way and assigning independent work for them to do in their free time when convenient.
