About Jon
Who am I?
I am a current Junior College student at Nanyang Junior College (NYJC) with a deep passion for Science and Mathematics. Having consistently achieved A1s in these subjects throughout my academic journey, I have a clear understanding of the rigor required to excel in the current curriculum. Beyond just grades, I am an active student leader and developer, which has honed my ability to explain complex, technical concepts in a way that is structured, logical, and easy to grasp.
Why do I teach?
I believe that the best way to master a subject is to help others understand it. I teach because I’ve seen firsthand how a shift in perspective or a simplified explanation can turn a student's frustration into confidence. I’ve successfully helped many of my own peers break through their learning barriers, and I find great fulfillment in helping others achieve the same academic success I have. My goal is to move beyond rote memorization and help my students build the intuitive understanding they need to truly "ace" their papers.
