About Eloise
Hi, my name is Eloise. I am currently a 3rd year biochemistry student at Lancaster University. I have also had the opportunity to study at Griffith University in Australia as a part of my degree scheme. Whilst at university I started rowing, and was able to balance that along with my degree and a social life.
I got a 9 in both biology and chemistry at GCSE. I got an A* in biology and an A in chemistry at A-Level, as well as an A* in Spanish and A* for my EPQ.
During my gap year I worked at a summer camp in Canada, where I was head of staff and worked with teenagers.

I am a GCSE biology and chemistry tutor.
I have a very dynamic approach to tutoring, and tailor each session to each student. I want to help build the student's confidence so that they believe and have trust in themselves when they answer questions by themselves/ in an exam setting. I appreciate biology and chemistry and not a lot of people's favourite subjects, and whilst it is not my goal to make them the favourites, I want to help take away any dread students may feel towards these subjects.
I take small breaks during my lessons, I use repetition, application of knowledge, practice questions and a review of the session at the end. A typical lesson usually lasts an hour.
It is my first year as a tutor, but I have a lot of experience working with teenagers (15-17).
