CRUSHING CHEMISTRY with Dr Tammy - A Patient Educator Who Simplifies Complex Concepts

After many years away from academia, and facing a great deal of fear about diving back in, I enrolled in a class with Tammy. Right off the bat she launched into very detailed and easy-to-understand concepts, and it was immediately obvious to me that she is brilliant and adept in her field. As a person with ADHD, I can struggle with abstract concepts but I could always count on Tammy to clarify things in a concrete way that I was able to grasp. Though she is serious about teaching and student preparedness, she is extremely kind, and offered advice when I came to her about my academic and professional goals. I very quickly grew to admire her and that fostered a love and excitement about Chemistry. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is considering a lesson with her.

Professor Wooten does not only have the qualifications to teach chemistry, but is skilled enough to break down the fundamental concepts in such an understandable way for beginners. I sincerely thank her so much for not only making me understand chemistry, but also ignited a passion for the concept that I never thought I would have. She made me love chemistry and is one of the reasons I switched my major to chemistry in college.
