Truly inspirational!

I had piano lessons with Vladimir for 5 years from 2017. Including many lessons online during the Covid-19 pandemic. The online lessons culminated with me achieving Grade 8 performance, which I had never thought achievable.

He transformed my playing from knowing “how to hit the notes” to “how to play the music therein”, a skill that I am now able to transfer into all my music making regardless of which instrument I am playing.

Vladimir taught me through grades one and two. Always encouraging and patient at these early stages. We covered the grade work, pieces I wanted to play and other areas such as basics of composing. Always interesting and fun. Highly recommended.

I have been having lessons with Vladimir for over 8 years now, and as my first and only piano teacher, I could not imagine having any other teacher! He always manages to capture any problems I have even before I realize I have them and helps me work around them in a way that is easy to understand. He is always so positive, and I enjoy all my piano lessons with him. I can’t recommend him enough!

Vladimir teaches both my sons, age 10 and 13 respectively. They both love their sessions. Vladimir is fun, patient and thoroughly engaging. I’m so glad we have finally found the perfect teacher for our boys. Highly recommend him.

I was fortunate to have Vladimir as my piano tutor. My goal was to pick up piano having 'given up' at 14 years of age after my Grade 3. I wanted to go up the grades I lost in my youth. 40 years later Vladimir tutored me to Grade 6. And so much more: how to play according to composer and style of music; make my own little compositions, basically how to understand music!

Vlad is a great teacher. He taught Alfie from about age 6 to 11. He was kind, patient and chose tunes that were both enjoyable and appropriate. Would recommend!

Brilliant teacher! He has worked magic with my playing, transforming the way I play from playing notes to playing music.  He has helped my technique with lots of advice and practice exercises, and finding a way round things I have found difficult.  He is always encouraging and positive and has given me the confidence to perform in public. I’m an adult in my 60s, Grade 8 standard.

We know Vladimir because he taught our sons to play piano, both in person and on-line (during lockdown). He was very patient and their grades were all with distinctions.
One abiding memory is when Vladimir and our oldest son played a freestyle jazz-style duet.

I am an older student, 64, who wanted to learn how to play the piano. Vladimir was my first teacher. He was patient, kind, and understanding. I wasn’t interested in passing exams. What I wanted to do was to be able to knock out a few tunes at a sing-along. Not only did Vladimir teach me to read music, he helped me get started with my lifelong ambition. I am no concert pianist, but I can bash out a few pub songs. He is a great teacher, whatever you want to achieve what ever you piano goals

Vladimir is a fantastic teacher. He totally transformed my son’s attitude to music and performance. We passed grade by grade with distinction, and it’s not about grades, it’s about opening the hidden potential in each student. Vladimir makes a difference even after a 30 minutes lesson.

Vladimir is a very professional and friendly teacher. Both my girls enjoyed learning piano from him . He made the lessons enjoyable and guided them through their graded exams. I highly recommend him.

Vladimir has been teaching me for over 8 years, and I always enjoy my lessons with him. He manages to capture any problems that I may not even realise I had and helps me work around them. His piano skills are amazing and very inspirational!

I've been taught by Vladimir for around 8 years having just completed my grade 7. He has a great attention to care in the theory and reasoning behind music, using it to teach more than just practical methods. He truly loves music and teaching which comes across very earnestly in our lessons and conversations. He has seen me grow up and probably played a part in shaping who i am through my music lessons. Although they are coming to an end due to leaving for university soon, Vlad has truly made me love piano and I will miss his teaching and our time together greatly!

Vladimir taught piano to my 9 year old and my 13 year old sons for 3 years. He was incredible, patient, fun and inspiring. My boys loved their lessons with him and we were sad when they had to stop for logistic reasons. I honestly can say that he has been the best piano teacher we’ve had. Highly recommend him to any family for any age group.

My son has piano lessons with Vladimir, through his calm and considered teaching, my son has flown through his piano grades. Vladimir also assisted with my son's GCSE music pieces which really took a lot of pressure and stress off.

Vladimir is an amazing pianist and an excellent teacher. He knows the art of teaching children and adults and makes learning a fun process. He integrates theory into his teaching giving the students a wholistic understanding. I can’t recommend him enough!
