About Marcela
Hi, I’m Marcela! I’m currently completing my BSc in Computer Science with the University of London at SIM in Singapore, and I also hold a Diploma in Medical Biotechnology.
With an academic background spanning science, mathematics and technology, I’m comfortable teaching a range of STEM subjects, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, general Science and Computer Science. My experience also extends beyond the classroom, having worked in both research and industry environments as a Laboratory Technologist and Data Analyst intern.
I believe a good tutor should make students feel comfortable asking questions, especially when they are struggling with a topic. I’m patient, approachable and always happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense.
Rather than focusing only on memorization, I help students understand the reasoning behind concepts and develop stronger problem-solving skills. Whether you are looking to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, strengthen your foundations or simply become more confident in STEM subjects, I will adapt my lessons to your individual needs and learning pace.

Hi, I’m Marcela! I’m currently completing my BSc in Computer Science with the University of London at SIM in Singapore, and I also hold a Diploma in Medical Biotechnology.
My background combines science, mathematics, technology and data, giving me a strong foundation across a range of STEM subjects. I have experience in both research and industry environments, including working as a Laboratory Technologist and as a Data Analyst intern.
