About Michael
Hi, I’m Michael! I study Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Sheffield, so I spend a lot of time working with Maths and Physics.
I’m friendly, patient and always happy to explain something more than once or try a different approach. I’ve also run STEM activities in schools, which I really enjoyed. My aim is to make lessons relaxed and help students feel more comfortable and confident with topics they might be struggling with.

My lessons are designed to help students understand Maths and Physics rather than simply memorise answers. I begin by identifying the topics they find difficult, then explain each concept clearly using relatable examples, guided questions and exam-style practice.
Lessons typically last one hour and are adapted to the student’s confidence, ability and learning pace. I encourage students to attempt problems independently while providing patient support whenever they get stuck.
I am a Civil and Structural Engineering student at the University of Sheffield with experience delivering STEM activities in schools, demonstrating engineering concepts and supporting prospective students. My lessons are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students who want to improve their understanding, confidence and problem-solving skills.
