The method depends very much on the objective. The first lesson is usually geared to frame the current level and the desired level, then focus on the objectives by dividing the main level into various sub-objectives. Thus a program is usually drawn up based on the one already held, and a time is estimated to achieve the expectations. I pay much attention to the method and to make the matter interesting rather than to memorize the single notion (which is also the modality now used in the vast majority of schools / scientific faculties).
