About Theo
I have been tutoring Chess for 9 years, working with High School and College students. Over this time, I have had the privilege of teaching more than 300 students, helping them grow their skills and confidence in the game. My passion for education drives me to make every lesson engaging and meaningful. I believe Chess is not only a game but also a powerful tool to develop critical thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills. Throughout my career, I have seen many students improve from beginners to strong players who compete successfully in tournaments. One of my proudest milestones is guiding several students to win local and regional Chess competitions. I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs and learning style, ensuring they understand concepts clearly and enjoy the learning process. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation in Chess and develop a lifelong love for the game.
