About Sanjayan
I am GCSE science, A-level chemistry and undergraduate level chemistry tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have a First Class (MSci) and PhD degrees in chemistry from University College London. I am currently a lecturer and researcher in chemical engineering and have published over 80 papers in numerous peer-reviewed journals. I am very passionate about teaching and pride myself in making each lesson thorough, organised, impactful and engaging so that it is as easy as possible for students to understand even the most challenging of topics. I have recently been made a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) as acknowledgement of my teaching experience and innovative teaching style. My teaching style involves a combination of problem-based learning (e.g. past exam questions, exam technique) and fundamental knowledge building to ensure my students have a robust understanding of the topics necessary for exam success.
