About Owen
My fascination with chemistry began when I first studied how atoms combine to create different substances. I became interested in understanding how chemical reactions explain many natural and industrial processes. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, where I studied organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and laboratory techniques.
During my 6 years of teaching, I have guided many students as they developed their understanding of chemistry. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation and patient guidance. I believe students learn science best when they understand how theoretical ideas connect with real-world examples.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific discoveries and environmental chemistry research. Staying connected with new developments allows me to bring interesting discussions into my lessons. Teaching chemistry is fulfilling because I see students become more confident in understanding scientific concepts and develop curiosity about how the material world works.

My chemistry lessons help students understand how substances interact and change through chemical processes. Many learners find chemistry challenging because it combines theoretical ideas with calculations. To make learning easier, we begin with basic concepts such as atoms, elements, and the periodic table. I explain how atomic structure influences chemical behavior and how elements combine to form compounds.
As students gain confidence with the basics, lessons gradually explore topics such as chemical bonding, reactions, and balancing chemical equations. I guide learners through examples that show how reactions occur and why certain products are formed. Students practice solving chemistry problems and analyzing reaction patterns so they can strengthen both conceptual understanding and calculation skills.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable studying chemistry and develop curiosity about scientific ideas. Lessons focus on explaining concepts clearly and connecting them to real-life examples. Over time students begin to understand chemical processes more deeply and gain confidence in solving chemistry questions.
