Firstly, I take the time to get to know my pupils, and to find out what they want to take away from the lessons. I also spend some time discovering what prior knowledge the pupil has, and addressing any misconceptions.
I will explain concepts clearly, and then use a questioning and task-based approach to help the pupil learn and understand the content.
I am looking for pupils in year 7 and 8 to tutor science to, and then my specialisms chemistry and biology for GCSE and A-Level pupils.
