About Oliver
Hi, I'm Oliver. I have a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and currently work in finance. While I was at Imperial, I spent a lot of time teaching undergraduate Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and was lucky enough to be recognised twice as runner-up for the University's Best Graduate Teaching Assistant award.
I enjoy tutoring because I know how much difference a good explanation can make. I was taught by people who focused on examples rather than memorisation, and that's an approach I've carried into my own teaching. Outside work, I enjoy running, cooking and aviation.

I offer tailored Chemistry and Maths tuition at GCSE, A-level and degree level, with lessons designed around each student's needs and goals. I hold a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and have spent my career applying mathematics and analytical thinking to solve complex real-world problems in both academia and industry. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and combine clear explanations, worked examples and exam-style practice in a supportive, relaxed environment.
