About Marina
I am now a third year PhD student at the University of Glasgow doing chemistry and robotics, having received a 1st in an MSci Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde! I can help you with maths, chemistry and physics (Nat5, Higher, Advanced Higher, undergrad levels - the last is chemistry only). Currently based in Glasgow however thanks to Zoom I can help you wherever you are! I'm incredibly friendly and easy going - passionate about organic chemistry so let me make you fall in love with cool compounds, reaction mechanisms and NMR! She goes above and beyond to understand fully what your struggling with and makes a thorough plan on how to help you study. She is great at explaining things and making them easier to comprehend.
Marina was extremely helpful with answering my questions last year which helped me pass my exams. She explains things in ways everyone can understand and will also help guide to answers instead of giving them outright to help learn the method and background chemistry which was useful to answering similar style questions.
Marina is very good at explaining content clearly and always made sure that I actually understand all the basics behind harder or more difficult principles. She is a really understanding tutor and listens well. She finally made me enjoy Chemistry!
