About Daisy
I have always had a passion for teaching and part of me wishes I became a Science Teacher. Instead I chose to become a Cosmetic Chemist which I absolutely love, but I miss teaching. I have 2 years' experience tutoring which is where my passion started, and I wish to continue doing tutoring alongside my employment. I think education is so important for everyone, yet often people miss out or aren’t able to perform to their full potential due to something as simple as their teacher's style. I want to be there to provide an alternate way of looking at things that can be more simple for you to understand. I want the education to come from a true understanding of the process, seen from someone who explains something that is interesting. Seeing concepts and understanding their relevance in the world helps us to remember them better and see their worth, rather than just trying to remember a strange-seeming equation. I want to provide that link and help build students' confidence to take on new knowledge and expand their understanding.

When I was studying for my A-Levels, I worked at a tutoring company and helped children aged 4-16 with any work they struggled with. Working with a variety of ages means I can adapt my style to suit the students' needs, and I like to focus on breaking the problem down into smaller pieces to allow us to explore each aspect and get a full understanding. I love helping students to understand concepts better and see their confidence grow from our sessions. I’m passionate about STEM subjects and I love being able to share this!
