About Charlotte
Relaxed and friendly teacher, interests include mindfulness, health, nature, theatre and art.
Charlotte worked as a Music Tutor at Rochdale Music Service working with a range of ages and abilities in singing and flute lessons, so has plenty of experience working with people from all walks of life. She has a knack for communication around finding a lesson approach that works best for you.
Charlotte is a Vocal Studies and Opera graduate from RNCM studying with Mary Plazas and Louise Winter, gaining a PGDip and MMus with Distinction and a BMus with First class Honours. She is also a graduate of the National Youth Choir/Chamber Choir of Great Britain, with a wealth of choral experience.
Charlotte appeared in the 2025 Wexford International Festival as Ghita in 'The Dwarf'. She was the 2024 winner of the Joyce and Michael Kennedy Award for the singing of Strauss, and was a Buxton International Festival Young Artist 2024.

We may work on vocal technique, learning new repertoire, furthering music reading/sight-reading and theory skills, performance skills, confidence and enjoyment of making music!
Charlotte is happy to help pupils to prepare for performances, exams or other milestones.
Specialises in classical music and opera in own singing but teaches musical theatre, pop, jazz and other genres as well as more classical repertoire - to be discussed with pupil.
Happy to teach anyone of any age (year 5/aged 9+) and ability - everyone can!
30 mins recommended for children/teens aged younger than 15.
One-to-one sessions.
Specialises in upper voices (sopranos and mezzos/altos) and teaching a classical based, all-round healthy vocal technique.
