About Manpreet Kaur

I am a dedicated and experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Physics. As a BC Certified Teacher, I bring both classroom experience and a strong understanding of curriculum and assessment expectations.

I believe every student can improve when they are given the right guidance, clear explanations, and a supportive learning environment. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorize formulas.

My aim is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to build their confidence so they can approach Mathematics and Physics independently.

About the class

I have been teaching for over 10 years and currently teach Grade 11 and 12 Mathematics and Physics, including AP Calculus AB and AP Physics 2. I am a BC Certified Teacher with a Certificate of Qualification and also work as a Provincial Numeracy Marker with the Government of BC.

My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I explain topics step-by-step, use clear examples, and guide students through problems before giving them opportunities to practice independently.

A typical lesson includes reviewing previous concepts, introducing new material, working through examples together, practicing questions, and addressing any areas of difficulty. I encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment.

My lessons are designed for Grade 11 and 12 students, including those taking AP courses. Whether a student needs help building strong foundations, preparing for assessments, or challenging themselves to achieve higher goals, I tailor my lessons to their individual needs.

What sets me apart is my experience as a certified high school teacher. I understand the curriculum, assessment expectations, and the challenges students face, and my goal is to help every student become a confident and independent learner.
