About Katia
My yogic journey begins at the age of 25 during a vacation in my home country: Ukraine. Between visits to relatives and long walks to rediscover the places of my childhood one of my best friends offers me a different day: a Yoga lesson. Although for me it was an absolute novelty, I did not hesitate even for a moment and, even today, I am not sure what was the reason that attracted me so decisively; only later, on my return to Italy, did I realize that that discipline had captured me so much that I had to immediately look for a center that could give me the opportunity to continue practicing Yoga. From that moment I immediately felt ready for new challenges, enraptured by the curiosity and passion of knowing and practicing new and different styles of Yoga. In July 2017 I was fortunate to participate in an important workshop with Denise Payne named "The best Teacher in Bali of Power and Yin Yoga". As was natural, I was fascinated by this woman's profound spiritual knowledge and great personality. That same evening I decided that my next goal would have been to attend - in November 2017 - a 300-hour teacher training, right with her, on the beautiful Island of Bali in Indonesia. After years now, I feel that every time I practice and teach Yoga, an unexpected space is generated inside me where I find myself and constantly discover new secrets of my body and mind. In fact, Yoga teaches us to change what cannot be accepted and to accept what cannot be changed ... and every time is a beautiful experience!
