About Andrea
I’m a certified Math and Special Education teacher with over 15 years of experience helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and discover the joy in learning. In my most recent role as Assistant Principal, I supported teachers in using research-based strategies to improve student outcomes, experience that now informs my one-on-one tutoring approach. I believe every student can succeed when instruction is personalized, engaging, and grounded in understanding rather than memorization. As a certified Math and Special Education teacher with over 15 years of classroom and leadership experience, I take a personalized, student-centered approach to tutoring. A typical session begins with a brief check-in and review of previously learned material to reinforce retention. Each lesson ends with a short reflection or goal-setting activity so students can track their own progress and celebrate growth.
