About JUNGJIK
I'm a Korean national currently based in Malaysia, with a genuine passion for sharing the Korean language and culture with international learners.
My journey into teaching started naturally — after years of working alongside people from many different countries, including time at global firms in London and Korea, I found myself constantly sharing Korean with those around me. That experience grew into a calling, and I went on to obtain the Korean Language Teacher Certificate, the official government qualification for teaching Korean as a foreign language, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language.
I believe language learning is most effective when it's personal, practical, and enjoyable. That's the experience I aim to create for every student.

I hold the Korean Language Teacher Certificate, the official government-issued qualification from the Republic of Korea, and have been teaching Korean to international learners since 2010.
My lessons are tailored to each student's level and goals — whether you're a complete beginner learning Hangul for the first time, preparing for the TOPIK exam, or simply wanting to enjoy K-dramas without subtitles. Every lesson covers all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a strong focus on practical, real-life conversation.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and available online or in person in Malaysia. I design a personalized curriculum for each student, so you learn at your own pace in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
