About Rimsha
Greetings! My name is Rimsha. I'm a dedicated Biology and Science educator with over five years of teaching experience and a strong academic background in Molecular Genetics, Biosciences, and Science Education. My educational journey has equipped me with both in-depth subject knowledge and modern teaching techniques that enable me to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
I hold a Master's degree in Molecular Genetics, a Bachelor's degree in Biosciences, and a Bachelor of Education in Science Education. Alongside my classroom experience, I have also worked as a teacher trainer, allowing me to continuously refine my teaching methods and stay updated with student-centered educational practices.
I specialize in teaching Biology to O Level, Matric, and College students, as well as General Science for Grades 5–10. My goal is to make learning meaningful by helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing them.
Over the past six years, I have taught Biology and Science in well-established educational institutions and have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience delivering online lessons, adapting my teaching methods to ensure students remain engaged and actively involved in a virtual learning environment.
My lessons are built around a student-centered approach, where every class is tailored to the learner's pace, strengths, and academic goals. I incorporate inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and technology-enhanced teaching to make lessons interactive and effective. I also use real-life examples, diagrams, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem-solving to simplify challenging topics and help students retain concepts more effectively.
Whether you're preparing for examinations, improving your grades, strengthening your conceptual understanding, or seeking guidance with assignments and laboratory topics, I provide personalized support designed to help you succeed.
Learning science doesn't have to be stressful or overwhelming. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can understand and enjoy Biology and Science.
My priority is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning with confidence. Every lesson is carefully planned to match your individual needs, ensuring that you not only perform better in exams but also develop critical thinking skills and a genuine curiosity for the subject.
If you're looking for a tutor who is patient, approachable, and committed to helping you achieve your goals, I'd be delighted to work with you. Together, we'll make science easier to understand, more engaging to learn, and more rewarding to master.

Stop memorising blindly. Let's master the examiner's language together.
Biology isn't just about reading a textbook; it’s about understanding how life works at a molecular level and knowing exactly how to demonstrate that knowledge on a mark scheme. Whether you are struggling to cross the 'C' grade threshold in IGCSE or trying to navigate complex genetic pathways in your university degree, I am here to bridge the gap.
With 6 years of certified teaching experience, I specialise in breaking down the most intimidating topics—like DNA replication, cellular respiration, and molecular genetics—into simple, memorable concepts.
Why students choose to work with me:
• Curriculum Masters: Familiarity with CAIE, Edexcel, and AQA specifications for IGCSE, O-Level, and A-Level.
• Higher Studies Edge: Tailored support for University-level Biosciences, Molecular Biology, and Genetics.
• The "Mark Scheme" Secret: I don't just teach you the science; I teach you the specific keywords and active verbs examiners look for so you never lose silly marks.
My Methodology (What to Expect)
Every student learns differently, which is why our 60-minute sessions follow a structured, high-yield format:
1. The Core Conceptual Breakdown: We use interactive visual tools to map out the topic so it actually sticks.
2. The High-Yield Drill: We immediately tackle actual past paper questions related to that topic to build exam stamina.
3. The Examiner Trap-Check: I point out the common pitfalls and tricky phrasing designed to trip students up.
