About Emily
I'm an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher in Vinyasa and Hatha. I qualified as a teacher after years of dedicated personal practice and a growing desire to share this wonderful discipline with others.
Like many people, I began taking yoga seriously during the Covid-19 pandemic and have since developed a committed practice to cultivate calm and support my physical and mental wellbeing. I credit yoga with helping me stay centred and healthy; it is a practice that supports every area of my life, and I am deeply grateful for it.
I love teaching accessible, beginner-friendly classes because I remember clearly what it felt like to start out. Yoga studios can be warm and welcoming, yet I still recall feeling intimidated, watching experienced students glide gracefully into Chaturanga while I belly-flopped onto my mat. I didn’t know the difference between my sternum and my sacrum. It took consistency, patience, and a willingness to show up to classes, even when I didn’t feel like it, to find confidence in my practice.
It saddens me to hear people say, “I’m not good enough to attend studio classes; I’ll embarrass myself,” or “I’ll start going once I’ve learnt the basics at home,” but then never make it to a class. I want to help people like this develop confidence and trust in themselves so they can grow their practice, wherever they are.
Outside of teaching yoga, I work as a professional ghostwriter and book coach. I love to travel and am currently learning French, Mandarin, and Japanese.

I teach beginner-friendly vinyasa flow classes via Zoom, designed to help yogis build confidence on the mat. My private sessions are ideal for those who want to develop strength and flexibility at their own pace, seek more personalised attention than group classes can offer, or wish to build confidence before joining studio sessions.
My philosophy is that yoga should be accessible to everyone. I welcome all students who are new to the practice, a little sceptical, or simply curious to give it a try. My goal is to create a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable exploring yoga. Lessons can, of course, be tailored to individual needs.
In my classes, you can expect a full flow that includes breathwork exercises, a warm-up sequence, standing postures, and a mindful cool-down and Savasana.
