About Kian
Hi! I’m Kian, a passionate and dedicated Mathematics educator. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I have experience tutoring students from Grades 10 to 12 in General Mathematics and Pre-Calculus, as well as practice-teaching Grade 7 Mathematics.
I believe that every student can learn Math with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. As a tutor, I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and are never afraid to make mistakes.
I’m a patient, responsible, and supportive educator who takes the time to understand each student’s needs and learning style. I enjoy finding simple and relatable ways to explain challenging concepts and helping students recognize their own progress.
My goal is not only to help students improve their Math performance, but also to build their confidence and develop a positive attitude toward learning. I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and discover that Math can be more manageable and enjoyable than you think!

Hi! I’m Kian, a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in Mathematics. I provide patient, supportive, and engaging online Math lessons designed to help students understand concepts clearly and become more confident problem-solvers.
My teaching approach is student-centered. I adjust my explanations, examples, and activities according to each learner’s level, needs, and learning pace. Instead of simply giving answers, I guide students through the solution step by step so they understand the reasoning behind each problem.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous concepts and a discussion of the student’s learning goals. I then introduce or explain the topic using simple examples, followed by guided practice where we solve problems together. Toward the end of the lesson, I give students opportunities to work independently and check their understanding. I also provide feedback and clarify any areas that need more practice.
I have experience tutoring students from Grades 10 to 12 in General Mathematics and Pre-Calculus, as well as practice-teaching Grade 7 Mathematics. I can help students with school lessons, homework, exam preparation, and challenging Math topics.
What sets me apart is my patience and willingness to find different ways to explain a concept until it becomes easier to understand. I want my students to leave each lesson not only knowing how to solve a problem, but also feeling more confident about their ability to learn Math.
