About Riya
Hi, my name is Riya and I currently work in the NHS as an Assistant Psychologist (18+ months experience). I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Early Intervention in Psychosis. I recently published a systematic review in an academic journal, which strengthened my skills in research, critical thinking, and academic writing. I’m passionate about supporting students in psychology and related fields. As a tutor, I aim to create a relaxed, collaborative space where you can bring questions, explore ideas, and build confidence. I can help with understanding psychological concepts, planning or structuring essays, developing research skills, and improving academic writing.
