About Gözde
Hi, I'm Gözde. I was born in Izmir in 1997 and I met yoga during my university years. Until then, my career goals were completely different and everything changed for me after yoga. When I first started yoga, I never thought I would be drawn into this world so much. However, with the Covid process that followed, I started doing yoga every day. As my practice increased, I realized that it not only relieved my shoulder pain, but also calmed me down. After a while, 1 hour of practice a day was not enough. While I was constantly wanting to do more, I met breathing exercises. As an asthma patient, I discovered how good they were for me. During this time, a relative's physiotherapist recommended yoga in addition to the schroth treatment they applied to her for scoliosis. Then I decided to become a yoga instructor to teach her. That's how my first 200-hour training journey began. Then I wanted to be able to help both those with scoliosis and hernia more. In my words, I received the "Yoga Therapy in the Viniyoga tradition" training that every yoga instructor should receive. Afterwards, of course, I wasn't satisfied with these. I enrolled in every anatomy training, breathing training, and asana training I could find. I also attended classes with many instructors from different traditions and created my own style from everything I learned. Of course, this journey is not over, I am still continuing to improve myself.
