About Yolaine
Of French origin, living more than half of my life in the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America and Europe; I am passionate about launching myself into new challenges. After a long career in civil society organizations in Europe and Latin America where I was able to share my enthusiasm for collaborative learning and participatory methodologies, I now want to dedicate my time to teaching French and French culture.

I like to teach through practice, using various methodologies adapted to your level and your way of learning. We have all different ways of learning, some of us need to start with theory before practicing, others are more visual than auditory, for example. I would like to help you reach your potential and explore which ways you learn best. I like to have fun in the classes, identifying current topics of common interest, films, songs, recipes, sayings... We will be identifying vocabulary, sentence structures and grammar in the classes according to the cases that we pick. I will be attentive to your needs throughout your learning and I will be adapting the methodologies according to your feedback.

Details
I have a trilingual legal degree, in which I developed solid skills in translation from Spanish / English to French (and vice versa). In 2018, I took a course to develop my skills in training and workshop facilitation, which has given me practical techniques to improve the transmission of knowledge.
Since November 2020, I became an independent consultant in strategic development.
