About Mery
I am a passionate and goal-oriented flute tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and around 150 students successfully mentored. I specialise in guiding students through a structured learning journey that builds both technical mastery and expressive ability.
My teaching emphasises breath control, embouchure strength, tone quality, articulation techniques, finger accuracy, and rhythm consistency. As students gain confidence, I introduce advanced repertoire and performance preparation. I carefully assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement to create personalised lesson plans.
My unique strength is combining patience with high standards, ensuring that students stay disciplined while feeling supported. I encourage regular practice and continuous self-improvement.
