About Melanie
Hello there! My name is Melanie and I am honoured to be on this platform where I can have the opportunity to help you with any struggles you may have during your education especially in the science and maths area for which I tend to expertise and enjoy the most. I am currently doing a bachelors degree in medical sciences at university and despite the challenges it comes it is also, why I love this course due to the ability to acknowledge how diverse and applicable science is to the world we live in also just knowing the biology of mankind is kinda cool I have to say. I do have various hobbies and interests such as I am a very big harry potter fan also I love playing my guitar which acts as a stress relief whenever I want to unwind and relax. In terms of sports, I love playing netball and basketball even doing some yoga puts me in a good mood. But anyway I just want to cut to the chase- as to how I will help you improve as a tutor? Firstly I will aid you to work smarter not harder in trying to break down and perhaps explain things which may have been difficult. I will also provide some good tips and strategies to aid in any tests you may have coming up enabling you to achieve those top grades which I know you are capable of getting.

Lessons are always delivered and tailored to my pupils' desired tastes, whether that be practising how to answer exam-style questions, giving the best tips and advice when approaching questions, or just making the lesson 100% engaging and motivating. Typical length of a lesson generally tends to be an hour as I believe is a sufficient amount of time to really get a good session in. Having tutored for almost 3 years now I aim to help all students to reach their target and desired grades by going further in delivering the right content. I always aim to push my students by giving them more challenging questions so that they are definitely more at ease when it comes to the actual exam. Lessons are aimed for any GCSE students, AS students (year 12) and SATs student (years 5 and 6)
