About Alexis
For several years, I’ve found real joy in helping others deepen their understanding of biology. I began as a teacher’s assistant, where I learned to recognize what teaching methods truly resonated with students and how to adapt lesson plans to meet their needs. What draws me to biology—and to teaching it—is the pursuit of understanding why things happen. For example, why is the mitochondrion known as the powerhouse of the cell? These questions are not just facts to memorize—they’re gateways to a deeper comprehension of how life works.
