I am a Biomedical Science graduate with a strong grounding in biological and medical sciences, and I currently hold an offer for Graduate Entry Medicine. My degree has provided me with a solid understanding of key areas such as cell biology, physiology, and biochemistry, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
I am keen to become a biology tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand complex ideas and find it rewarding to support academic progress. I have experience explaining scientific concepts to peers during my degree, which has helped me develop a clear, structured, and adaptable approach to teaching.
My tutoring style is student-led, meaning I prioritise identifying each student’s individual needs, strengths, and areas of difficulty. I aim to tailor sessions to their learning style, encouraging active participation, questions, and discussion rather than passive learning.
