About Hayden
My fascination with biology began with a desire to understand life at both microscopic and ecosystem levels. This passion led me to pursue a B.Sc in Molecular Biology followed by an M.Sc in Environmental Science, equipping me with expertise in cellular processes, genetics, ecology, and conservation. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with learners of varying levels, helping them grasp complex biological concepts through structured guidance, practical examples, and interactive exploration.
I believe effective teaching in biology requires patience, clarity, and adaptability. Many learners struggle with abstract ideas or complex processes, so I emphasize breaking down difficult topics, connecting theory to real-life examples, and fostering curiosity through active experimentation. Each student receives individualized support to build both understanding and confidence in their ability to explore biology independently.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with scientific developments, research papers, and conservation initiatives, bringing contemporary knowledge into the classroom. Seeing students grow from tentative learners into confident, curious thinkers is deeply rewarding.
