About Dharya

I'm currently pursuing my B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU). Before this, I spent a year preparing intensively for NEET, which taught me not just Biology in depth, but also how to break down tough concepts into simpler, retainable pieces — something I now bring into how I teach.

I have a genuine interest in reading and writing, which shows up in how I explain things — I try to make sure a concept isn't just memorized but actually understood well enough to be written out clearly in an exam or explained in your own words.

I believe in a patient, one-on-one approach: understanding where a student is stuck before pushing ahead, and building consistency rather than last-minute cramming. My own NEET prep year taught me the value of structured routines and steady effort, and I try to instill the same in my students.

I'm reliable, punctual, and communicate regularly with parents on progress so there are no surprises before exams.

About the class

Each session is structured around the student's current level and upcoming exam/school schedule. I start by identifying weak areas through quick concept checks, then build a topic-wise plan rather than jumping randomly across chapters.

What a typical class includes:

Concept explanation using simple language, real-life examples, and diagrams where needed
NCERT-based teaching (especially important for NEET aspirants, since NCERT is the primary source)
Practice questions and quick recall tests at the end of each topic
Doubt-clearing before moving to the next concept — nothing is left half-understood
Periodic revision sessions so earlier topics aren't forgotten
Regular short assessments to track progress and adjust pace

Class duration: Typically 1–1.5 hours per session, depending on the topic and student's grasping speed.

Materials: I use NCERT textbooks as the base, supplemented with practice worksheets and notes I prepare for tricky topics.

I keep parents informed about topics covered and areas needing extra attention, so progress is visible and measurable over time.

Always punctual, patient, and incredibly well-organized, Dharya never moves on to a new topic until they are certain the fundamentals are completely solid. Beyond just improving grades, their structured approach has truly boosted my child's confidence and interest in the subject. I highly recommend Dharya to any parent looking for a dedicated, insightful tutor!

Dharya has been tutoring my daughter for about 2 years now, and honestly, it's been one of the better decisions we've made for her studies. What stands out to me most is how patient she is — she never rushes through a topic just to "finish the syllabus." She always makes sure my daughter actually understands something before moving on, and the sessions are well-organized every single time.

I remember one time my daughter was really stuck on genetics — just couldn't wrap her head around it. Dharya sat with her, drew out a simple diagram, and within a few minutes it just clicked for her. That's when I realized she doesn't just teach, she actually figures out what's not working and fixes it.

I'd genuinely recommend Dharya to any parent looking for a tutor who cares about their child's progress and not just showing up for the hour.
