About Urubi

I started as a volunteer tutor and gradually built my way into private tutoring, with 4+ years of experience teaching students across different ages and academic levels.
I teach across multiple international curricula like Cambridge/IGCSE/A-Levels/AP/Australian/ Singaporean and UK curricula. I also offer IELTS/SAT/ACT and other exam preparation, academic enrichment and college/university counseling.

About the class

We start with assessments, create a plan and then lessons cover core concepts in cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, human biology, plant biology and physiology, with curriculum-focused explanations, diagrams, practice questions and exam preparation. Lessons can be tailored to Cambridge, IGCSE, A-Levels, IB, AP and other international curricula, with enrichment for students seeking deeper understanding.

I was studying for my SAT and could not get past 600s but after a couple of months with Miss Urubi, I improved my maths and English to 750 and 760 each. I am really pleased with my experience and genuinely recommend her to more students if you want to improve at anything.

I met vee through the same thing she taught my sister math . I've had a great experience with Vee. She explains Maths in a simple and patient way, making even difficult topics easier to understand. She's supportive, encouraging, and always willing to answer questions until the concept is clear. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Maths tutor.
